Elevate Science Notebooks in the FOSS Classroom Community of Practice

Earn continuing education credits by elevating writing in the science classroom with the FOSS Science Curriculum. Learn how to get started with science notebooks, build connections to writing across domains, and elevate student sense-making with next-step strategies.

This course includes a total of ten hours of continuing education credits, registration for all four sessions, materials (sent to you), and a continuing education certificate.

The Community of Practice sessions include these four webinar topics:

  • 1.5 hours focusing on active investigation and notebook foundations
  • 1.5 hours focusing on making sense of data and language development
  • 1.5 hours focusing on assessment and next-step strategies
  • 1.5 hours focusing synthesizing student thinking
